Val d’Ultimo hotels

Even if Val d’Ultimo seems to be the quietest and most isolated South Tyrolean valley, its  hotels in the mountain are of a very high quality level. Val d’Ultimo, an Eldorado for hikers!

Val d’Ultimo is a true Eldorado for hikers, mountain bike fans and horse-riding fans! Trekking tours can be easy, like the one towards the St. Helen’s church or the “House on the Rock”, the only building which “survived” a flood which took place at the end of the XIX century.

Well-trained hikers can be the “Farms tour”, lasting 8 hours to go and go back. It’s possible to look at the ancient South Tyrolean farms; some in Val d’Ultimo are among the oldest in the region. Some of them date back to the XIV century and are characterized by an extremely dark wood colour.
